Homebound Status
To be eligible for home health care, a patient must be under a physician’s care, be home bound, have insurance coverage for home health care, have a need for intermittent skilled nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech pathology, and have a plan of care established by a physician.
Services provided by Direct Home Health Services Inc are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and various private insurance companies. We will assist you in determining your insurance coverage for home health care.
IV Therapy
We offer intravenous therapy for patients who cannot adequately absorb nutrients due to health conditions and disorders.
Skilled Nursing
We have qualified Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses at your service. They can provide skilled nursing care to ensure your health is well-managed and cared for at home.
Physical Therapy
Assist in regaining mobility and independence through strengthening and endurance exercises.
Occupational Therapy
Includes a low vision therapy program to assist those patients who struggle with vision issues. Involve the patient in developing improving and/or restoring functions of daily living affected by injury or illness.
Speech Therapy
Speech Pathologists assist the patient in improving communication skills or compensating for skills that they may not have fully restored. They also help alleviate swallowing difficulties.
Medical Social Worker
Medical Social Workers provide assistance in obtaining community resources, short-term counseling, and long-term planning for health care needs.
Home Health Aide
Provide personal care for the patient and assist them with daily activities during recovery. They are under the supervision of the RN as ordered by the physician.

Personal Care Attendant Services
Our Personal Care Attendants are well-versed in a variety of personal care duties, ranging from daily living activities to instrumental activities that are essential to maintaining a quality life at home.
Registered Nurses/LVNs
– Provides direct patient care.
– Coordinates the total home health care program.
– Trains and educates the family/designated caregivers to continue the plan of care when professional services are no longer needed.
